The white goods program allows residents to call the Southwest New Brunswick Service Commission and have their white goods (major household appliances such as fridges, freezers, stoves, washers, dryers and dishwashers) picked up from the curb, based upon a schedule of pick ups in each area of the region. SNBSC asks that you place your white goods out for collection the night prior to your assigned collection day.
This program runs from April 1 to October 31 each year. We look after freon removal. There is no charge for this service.
Pick up locations are St. Stephen, St. Andrews, McAdam, Eastern Charlotte, Fundy Shores, and Southwest Rural District.
